Position Summary:   Management and coordination of company Sales & Marketing. Ensure company sales procedures conform to generally accepted practices.  We are seeking candidates that have either a telecommunications or IT background. 


Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Overall responsibility for corporate identity, web-site, promotional materials, company qualifications, collateral material, market research and overall business opportunities and growth.
  2. Provide feedback for preparing cost/benefit alternatives, identify exceptional individuals or teams and recommend resolutions necessary resulting from quality reviews.
  3. Coordinate efforts with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of project plans and or programs.
  4. Responsible for the development and coordination of the long term strategic plan, provide input and recommendations.
  5. Develop sales strategies prior to contacting customer using a variety of visual and other sales aids.
  6. Responsible for planning, reporting and managing sales process
  7. Hire, evaluate, perform reviews and train sales & marketing staff
  8. Provide input for new product development and guidance as applicable
  9. Identify new customer channels, seek out and target new customers
  10. Develop customer relationships with existing and new customers
  11. Ability to lead opportunities through the sales cycle including prospecting, referrals, opening new accounts and account management.
  12. Complete understanding of the sales process and able to “close the sale.”
  13. Able to build relationships with customers and know what the customer needs.
  14. Know and understand our competitors in the market place
  15. Develop and maintain sales metrics

Work Relationships:


Supervise Sales & Marketing Department personnel.  Develop and maintain relationships internally and with community representatives.  Report to the President.

Participates as a member of the executive management team.



Work Conditions/Equipment:


Majority of work performed indoors with physical activity consisting of normal office work and some light lifting.  Frequent travel required.  Utilize basic office machines and computer equipment regularly.


Minimum Qualifications:


·         4 year degree in business/ sales/marketing or the equivalent in experience. MBA preferred.

·         8 years of sales & marketing/strategic planning experience (at least 4 years in each).

·         4+ years industry experience.

·         3 years supervisory experience.

·         Experience with networks, access charges/tariffs and marketing required.

·         Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

·         Computer proficiency.

·         Requires a valid drives license
